gaming peers that they will have the distinct honor of being crowned SOE's
second annual Players of the Year!

Our fourth set is the conclusion to the Oathbound block, in which the saga
of your Oathbound hero comes to a final conclusion. At the end of the last
campaign, you were finishing up your stint as an Inquisitor and finding the
work somewhat distasteful.
When the story picks up again, you're given more onerous jobs to complete. At
the same time, you discover that a powerful minion of Chaos has been posing as
another Inquisitor to attack the Oathbound and The Tribunal from within.
In fact, this mysterious figure was previously shown on the card Heresy,
burning an unfortunate victim at the stake. Her overzealous tactics to enforce
the tenets of Order are a clue to her true nature. Heristine is the name she
has taken as an Inquisitor, and you must track her down to get to the bottom of
this plot.

Your reward for escaping her the first time is the cape she flings to the
ground to reveal her true self. The abilities displayed on the Heresy card are
embodied in this armor item. As befits an artifact from a true Mistress of
Chaos, you'll need a lot of power to use it properly.
Along the way you'll make a fateful decision that turns your Oathbound allies
into newfound enemies. Confrontations with Cyndra, Terin, Eluviel, and
Karlemayn will be tests of your devotion and persuasion.
Before your final confrontation with this Mistress of Chaos, you'll encounter
some old adversaries. Zelos, the Overlord of Decay, has been brought back to
life. He's used his necromantic powers to raise some of the other Chaos enemies
from your past to battle you once again.
Oathbound Banner
The result is a battle royale featuring a four-on-four beginning that's a first
for our series of scenarios. Once you've defeated Zelos, your prize will be the
banner he threw down when he became a Forsworn and Oathbreaker. This item card
helps to offset the extra effort it takes to complete a quest by rewarding you
with extra cards.
The last few scenarios for Oathbreaker have some new parameters to make them
extra challenging. In your final trial, you'll meet one more fateful enemy.
Once you've defeated him, your crusade to save the Oathbound and The Tribunal
will be complete.

first Legends of Norrath story block comes to an exciting end with the release
of the fourth LoN set, Oathbreaker! And there's no better way to immerse
yourself in the final story than to join in the release weekend events!
Scheduled to begin on Friday, June 20, and continue through Sunday, June 22,
the release weekend will host a special Oathbreaker sealed-deck tournament in
which participating players will receive one (1) random Oathbreaker deck and
three (3) Oathbreaker booster packs to construct their decks, as well as the
opportunity to win brand new Oathbreaker booster packs! In addition, each
player who enters an Oathbreaker release weekend tournament will also receive

Oathbreaker Preview: Chel'drak Raid -

InOathbreaker, players will go head to head with Chel'drak, the dragon
turtle and great guardian. You will face him in the Antechamber of Fate, a
watery grave where your grave will be as well if you are not careful.
I mentioned in an earlier article that our newChargemechanic would play a major role in the new
raid. In a major battle such as a raid, players should always feel threatened
and be on their toes.Chargeallows
us to do these things by punishing players that take too long to accomplish
certain tasks. With that in mind, lets examineShadowy Acolyte:

There's a ton of information on this card. Don't panic! Let's examine each
section one at a time.
First, you'll notice that the Acolyte comes into play with
aChargetoken and that he is
aLegend. Simple enough.
Next, you'll notice that unless it is a Priest's turn, this unit gets an
additional keyword:Spectral.Spectralis officially defined as: This unit can't be
removed from play or targeted by a game effect. In layman's terms, this means
that unless you're a Priest, you can't kill this guy. Nor can you move him,
destroy him, etc. Don't even try. I mean it.
Finally, we come to the ability this unit gains if he survives a full turn
(thus removing theChargetoken).
If the Priest in your party lets this unit live, it will heal the raid boss
back to full health, forcing you to essentially start over.
You don't have to be the smartest avatar around to figure out that there are
probably more of these shadowy units, one for each archetype. Chel'drak will
play these shadowy units at random throughout the raid. It is up to your raid's
respective player to take out that unit immediately, or suffer the
consequences. Initially, this may seem to be a tall task. Rest assured though
that players will be given some help to move these units by other means setup
by the structure of the raid itself.
While players are scrambling trying to kill shadowy units, Chel'drak will be
busy dealing massive damage to his opponent, via cards such asTitanic
Stomp:

Items are going to be tough to play in this raid, not only because of this card
but because of other cards increasing the cost to play items as well.
There are so many other aspects of the raid I could share, but I don't want to
spoil everything so I will keep you guessing for now. The shadowy units by
themselves should give you enough of an idea about what kinds of cards you'll
need to be including in your raid decks this set. Good luck!

Spectral…破壊されず、効果の対象にならない。
Dojo/Trakanon Raidで登場したInvulnerableより、Exert入らない分タチが悪い、と考えていいかもしれません。
Titanic Stomp…毎度毎度出るたびに悲鳴が起こるItem破壊Ability。
今回は使い捨てで直接戦闘も付いてくるオマケ付き。
複数回カッ飛んで来られる可能性もありますし、十分に注意を払うべきでしょう。
Tournament Play 101 – Welcome to the Jungle -

So you want to play Legends of Norrath competitively? You want to win some
packs to boost your collection or maybe even some cold hard cash? Ok, well I
have some tips for you:
Legends of Norrath offers several tournament formats for you to enjoy the
competitive aspects of this great online card game. The formats vary greatly
and with each variation you will see a dramatic difference in popularity,
participation and gameplay experience. It is difficult for me to cover all the
details and rules of every format so the first thing you want to do before you
enter into the tournament scene is to go read the general rules and FAQ

The rules and gameplay for drafts is different than standard constructed so you
will want to read the rules for that here:

To play in LoN tournaments you will need Event Passes for all formats with the
exception of the monthly Championship Qualifier. EPs can be bought in the store
or traded for. The CQ is free to enter. The other formats vary from 1 EP to 20
EP's. Drafts also require booster packs to play in addtion to EPs. The rewards
and fees while generally consistent tend to change with each format and each
month you will want to check the events calendar herehttp://legendsofnorrath.station.son...nts_calendar.vmto
see what is being offered and dates/times for each event.
What can I expect when I play in a LoN tournament, you may ask? Well that all
depends on what format/event you are playing in. Lets go over some stuff for
each of the event style tournaments…
I will start with the Loot Tournament format because it is the most popular.
This format costs 10 EPs to play in and is held on a monthly basis. This
tournament offers some great participation rewards; the minimum reward for this
format is 3 boosters plus 1 pre-determined loot card and a promotional card.
This format is less competitive because of the great rewards. If you also play
EQ1 or EQ2 this is a good format to "get your feet wet" in, because even if you
lose you come out of it with some cool stuff in the form of a loot card for
your respective game. Even if you don't play the MMO's you can trade the loot
pack for other good stuff in the LoN Trade Lobby. Expect to see lots of people
joining then dropping just for the loot. Usually in this format you will have
some easy early rounds; with some lucky pairings you could get an opponent who
just conceeds or is afk. As you move into the later rounds, if you've been
getting wins you will run into the more skilled players with very good quality
tournament decks.
Next let's talk about the Winners Choice format. This format costs 5 EPs to
play in and usually several of these run each month. This tournament format
doesn't offer great rewards just for participation and if you end up placing in
the bottom half of the field you will only walk away with 1 booster for your 5
Eps. This format is not for the faint of heart; it is very competitive and
participation reflects this. The smaller field makes the tournament a bit
shorter but you will most likely have several hard matches. Winning one of
these is an accomplishment that has a great reward… a Choose Your Own Loot
card. The "choose" card is very valuable, obviously. This format comes in a few
variations as well. Every so often a "highlander" or "no rare" version of this
format will be offered. Highlander means you can only have a maximum of 1 of
each card in your standard constructed deck. No rare means, obviously, no rare
cards allowed in your standard constructed deck.
Another format is Booster Draft. This format costs 3 EPs + boosters to play in.
This format is less popular, but still very fun in my opinion. Booster draft
fields are limited to 8 people, so it is a faster event. If you are going to
play in one of these you need to have a firm grasp of how the game works, solid
deck building skills, in-depth knowledge of the cards, their rarity and
function. In this format players draft a deck from the pool of packs. Basically
each player opens a pack and picks a card then passes it to the next person.
This format is not the best way to build your collection because when you build
a deck in draft you are sometimes forced to pick cards that are more playable
over cards that are rarer or what you might need to complete your collection.
Sometimes people pass on the rare card in their pack for something more
playable; don't bank on it though. This format does even the playing field a
bit but there is obviously a huge luck factor involved. Make no mistake, this
is also a highly competitive format and winning one of these is a combination
of knowledge, skill and luck. The rewards in this format are not very good and
the cost is high so you really need to think about how you want to approach
this format.
There is another format that comes up only when an expansion is released and
that is the Sealed Starter Deck format. So far we have had 2 of these events
and this format is 20 EPs. In this format you are given a random starter deck
and 4 boosters from the new expansion. You then build your deck from those
cards. This tournament format also offers a promo card with participation and
these promo cards have become the rarest cards in LoN because participation in
the event is the only source for the promo card. This format in terms of
gameplay is a bit like a loot tourney combined with a booster draft; it's
pretty competitive, deck building skills and luck play a big role.
The last format I will mention is the Championship Qualifier. This is the
monthly free tourney that offers a cash prize pool of 5000$ and a trip to the
big dance at Gen Con Indy. This format is highly competitive and has pretty

To finish off, I would like to cover some tips for "how to play" in tournaments
in general. In LoN there is always a deck that will beat any given deck, there
is always a luck factor, and there is always a lot of skill. The people who win
consistently have all those things coming together to put them on the top.
Players who win consistently climb the rankings ladder and are recognizable by
their shield icon next to their name in game… gold, silver or bronze. You can

Last, on to some tips:
Tip #1"Know Your Opponent"- Get
to know who the good players are, what they are playing, what the "meta" game
is like, what decks seem to be popular, and what is winning on a consistent
basis and why. You cannot beat a deck until you know why and how it wins. This
is a big factor because of the parity in LoN; picking a deck that plays well
against what you think you might encounter is very important. You don't have to
beat every deck conceivable, you just need to beat what your opponent is
playing. That said, the best built decks will beat the widest range of
possibilities.
Tip #2"Know Your Cards and Hone Your Deck
Building Skills"- Study the cards and find out what the good
combos are and how cards function. When you think you have a winning deck it is
a good idea to test it thoroughly and see how it draws over several games to
make sure it is a consistent build. A winning tourney deck can lose a game or
two, all decks can lose but the best decks only lose to certain combos or
certain styles of decks. A well-built tourney deck will only lose to a narrow
or more specific type of strategy.
Tip #3"Have Fun, Learn and Enjoy the
Experience"- With each tournament you enter you will gain
valuable knowledge for every consequent tournament or match you play. Win or
lose there is something to be learned from each game. There is no substitute
for experience and just because you are losing now doesn't mean you can't learn
from it and turn things in your favor in the future. Try to have fun even if
things aren't falling into place for you today, tomorrow might just be your
lucky day.

Dagger of the Quickhandsは、Steel Dagger2本、という印象しか無いんですが…
StealthのTraitは付いているんですが、Stealth
Trait指定の能力というと、手持ちではPickpocketやSwiftwhisperしかありません。
これらは、どちらも"Stealth Ability"指定なので、Oathbreaker導入時に修正されれば…と言ったところでしょうか。
最後のManastormは、出ればなかなか恐ろしい1枚です。
Unit強制破壊＆相手の全Unitに1dmg…でいいと思うんですが。
Sunstrike並に怖い1枚になりそうです。

SOE is offering an exciting new tournament format for allLegends of
Norrath™players that allows you to better your skills, climb in the
rankings and earn free loot! Best of all, these new events are FREE to you!
Monthly Sprints work like this:
・Every weeknight at alternating times (listed below), a FREE
four-roundLegends of NorrathSprint tournament will be held in the
Tournaments Lobby.
・Entrants in the tournament will receive Sprint points based on participation
and number of wins.
・Cumulative rankings will be posted after each event on the Sprint
Leaderboard.
・On the last weekday of the month, the player with the most Sprint points on
the Sprint Leaderboard will win:
- A "Choose Your Loot Card" good for aLegends of Norrathloot card from
the currentset.
- A special Gold Sprint Winner Medal, displayed next to the winner's name in
theLoNgame lobbies.
- ALegends of Norrathpromo card. (A new promo card will be offered
each month.)
・Players with 100 or more Sprint points for the month will receive:
- ALegends of Norrathpromo card.
- A Silver Sprint Winner Medal.
・Players with 40 to 99 Sprint points for the month will receive:
- ALegends of Norrathpromo card.
- A Bronze Sprint Winner Medal.
・On the first weekday of the next month, all Sprint points and Sprint rankings
will be reset, but Medal winners will keep their Medals. If they win subsequent
Medals of the same color, a number will appear inside that Medal. For example,

Not only will you have the chance to win great loot, but you'll also get

Monthly Championship Qualifiers and the August $100,000 Championship at Gen

The Sprint point schedule for nightly Sprint events looks like this:
- Receive one (1) point for each round finished.
- Receive two (2) additional points for each round won.
The least amount of Sprint points a player can receive for a completed
tournament is four, and the maximum is 12.
The Monthly Sprint schedule is as follows: (provided no other events are in
progress)
Mondays - 5:00 p.m. (PDT – U.S.A.)
Tuesdays - 6:30 p.m. (PDT – U.S.A.)
Wednesdays - 5:00 p.m. (PDT – U.S.A.)

New Arrivals

In each new expansion forLegends of Norrath, the "palette" for units
grows a little broader. Each expansion brings new denizens from all over
Norrath, and traditionally gives extra attention to a couple groups in
particular, one light and one shadow.Oathbreakerfollows this pattern
by offering up a number ofFaeandEruditeunits for players to work into their
strategies. Even within these factions, you'll find more than one approach to a
deck. Today, though, I'll offer one sample from each side of the light/shadow
coin.
The Fae are one of the major Light unit types inOathbreaker. Many of
their unit cards try to capture the more wild and playful side of the race,
such as this:

Of course, it's not that a Fae would never "shoot to kill" if the situation
called for it. But inLegends of Norrath, returning a card to its
owner's hand rather than destroying it can depict a "gentler" way of dealing
with a problem. TheFae Mysticdoes this sort of "soft kill" when you
play it, with the added bonus that you don't even actually have to get into
combat to use that text. This makes the unit great for evening the odds, taking
out the most potent defender from a group of units you plan to attack. It's
arguably greater still foruneveningthe odds. Many opponents often
throw down a single unit with 3 health as a cheap "blocker," expected to
protect an avatar from attack for an entire turn. But theFae Mysticcan
send that blocker packing for a turn, and thenstillbe able to start a
raid on the now-exposed avatar in the same turn.
There are other times you might want to use theFae Mysticon your own
units rather than your opponent's. You could bounce a unit back to your hand
that has "when you play" text, and then use that text again by replaying the
unit. Or you could return a unit near death to your hand and replay it to
"heal" all its damage. Granted, you might find cheaper healing options
(certainly if you're playing the Priest archetype), but you never know when
that extra added bit of flexibility might be just what you need to pull out a
victory.
Turning to the darker side, let's take a look at the Erudites. One mechanic
they play around a lot with inOathbreakeris picking on the "weak."
This is demonstrated on cards like this:
Erudite Enchanter
TheErudite Enchanteris one of several Erudite units that do things
specifically to damaged units. This can have the interesting side effect of
making a player think differently about how he applies his combat damage. Very
often, a player will try to spread damage around as evenly as possible, taking
all his units down to 1 health before finally dealing the fatal blow to any of
them. This subset of Erudites calls that approach into question, however. Every
damaged unit is a liability against these Erudites, and you may find it better
to sacrifice one unit than allow two or three to sit "bleeding" at a quest.
As for thisparticularErudite, the Enchanter exerts all opposing
damaged units at his quest. He'll probably be the first unit you'll want to use
whenever you attack your opponent. He's less potent on the defense, when your
opponent gets the chance to use his best attacker before you can exert it, but
he can still do wonders against the right crowd. And there are plenty of cards
you could consider stocking to make sure you have that "right crowd":Circle
Attack, Brutality, Gnoll Shaman, Rotting Ghoul, andCascade of
Hail, to name a few.
Whether you use your units to reflect your playful side or sinister side, the
units ofOathbreakeroffer many fun options to explore.

new keywords in the set real simple, and I think we've done a good job with
it.
Granted, the ability on the Chestguard isn't exactly something you can theme a
deck around. But use your imagination, and I'm sure you can imagine some of the
crazy stuff we've got coming to you in this set!
On the other hand, we also have cards that give you a bonus while there are
still tokens remaining on yourChargecard. Take the card shown

For the first few turns the Aegis is out, you get a fatter defense bonus off
of it. Once the card runs out of tokens though, it simply plays like it always

All of us at SOE are thrilled to be bringing you another expansion set
forLegends of Norrath. You'll find some great new Loot cards
inOathbreakerboosters along with 210 new common, uncommon and rare
cards. The four fixed starter decks each have 4 new quests and 3 random rare
cards. Promo cards are part of the plan once again, and you'll receive them in
lots of different ways just like before.
To Save The Tribunal
The saga of your Oathbound hero comes to an exciting conclusion with the story
of the ten new single-player scenarios forOathbreaker. You'll discover
a Chaos plot operating against The Tribunal from within the organization
itself. Its perpetrator seems to be posing as an Inquisitor (seen previously on
the cardHeresy).

Mistress of Chaos
When she reveals herself as the Mistress of Chaos - the one behind all the
enemies you've been fighting - it's your job to track her down and stop her.
Along the way, you'll make enemies of your former friends like Cyndra and

Hammer. You'll meet him in a final trial, as the story comes full circle.

Weapons Are For Sissies
We've put the restriction "Two-Hand" on some new abilities for Fighters and
Priests in this set. Yes, that means you have to give up your Primary and
Secondary item slots in order to play them. The story here is that we're
providing you with the cards to play unarmed Monks and shapechanging Druids.
How can these cards be as good as having a weapon? You'll have to wait and
see.
In theOathbreakerset, Scouts finally get their Beastlord warders.
You'll find them different from Mage pets, but having the same kind of support
cards. Speaking of Mages, you'll find new cards for all their strategies,
including a new light pet unit that we'll feature in a Card of the Week
soon.
Something Old, Something New
Among the many new units inOathbreakerare Erudite and Fae units,
appearing for the first time. Old favorites like Dwarves, Wood Elves, and Dark
Elves are making return appearances, featuring all-new game mechanics.
TheLegendcards in this set
feature the friends and enemies of Firiona Vie, such as Thubr Axebringer and
Danak Dhorentath.
Charge!
The most exciting new game mechanic in the set is a keyword
calledCharge. We'll have an
article that explains exactly how this works coming soon. For now, let's just
say that someChargecards are the
"use it or lose it" variety. Others get better after a few turns, like a bomb
waiting to go off.Chargelets us
create new kinds of time pressure in the game.
One Phase to Rule Them All
In the Antechamber of Fate lives a great dragon turtle named Chel'drak. Four of
you will be able to challenge this ancient enemy on his own turf. This time,
the new raid has only one avatar to defeat, but there are some powerful enemy
units with incredible game text that you'll have to take care of if you expect
to win.

8/14～15に開催されるGenCon（アメリカ西海岸で行われるゲームショウ）で、LoNのイベントがあるようです。
賞金総額$100,000とあって、17~32位でも$1,000と、結構な額が並んでいます。
このトーナメントは、現地に行って参加出来れば、年齢（18歳以上）以外の参加資格は問われません。
ちなみに、今月のChampionship Qualifier優勝者には、この大会のBYE（シード）権と、現地までの交通費が支給されるようです。

The ZAM Network is proud to present its Legends of Norrath Trading Card Game
site! A complete database of all available game cards as well as a fully

TheLegends of Norrathwas first released by Sony
Online Entertainment in September 2007, introducing the first
set,Oathbound. Since then, two new sets have been
released,ForswornandInquisitor. The game is playable both
within EverQuest and EverQuest II, as well as through a standalone client that
you can download from theofficial website. There are four archetypes to
choose from: Mage, Scout, Priest, and Fighter. There are also three factions:
Light, Shadow, and Neutral. InOathbound, players are introduced to
basic gameplay strategies through Scenarios where they do battle against a NPC
avatar. With the introduction ofForsworn, players met with new allies
and enemies, new strategies, and raiding within the TCG. Players were also
introduced to 2-on-2 combat. Up until this point, the game was strictly single
player-vs-player. Finally,Inquisitorwas launched with new classes to
balance out every player's deck. Monks, bards, enchanters, etc., were brought
to the table with the release of this set.
Up until now, it was difficult to find an online solution for your
deck-building needs. Allakhazam boasts a full list of available play cards in
each set, complete with sorting by archetype, faction, card type (quest,
tactic, ability, item, etc.), or even set! There are many ways to find the
cards you need to fill out that new deck, and users can save multiple decks in
their profile for the "tweaking" we all seem to do! There are also Legends of
Norrath forums so that players can discuss the game and strategies, as well as
trade for cards when you're unable to actually be in game.

こちらは、LoN Wikiaの更新停止あたりから公開されていたのですが、
編集ユーザも増えてきたのか、色々と環境的にも整ってきたようです。
海外のLoNサイトは、LoN Wikiaが更新停止されてから、他に有効な情報リソースもあまり挙がっていないようだったので、
今後のAllakhazamには、個人的にも期待しています。
コンテンツとしても、デッキサンプルの検索閲覧や、メタゲームについて解説する戦略的な記事も書かれているようです。
ユーザー登録すれば、自分で作成したデッキをアップロード出来る仕組みもあるようなので、コミュニティとしても大いに期待できそうです。個人的にはカードのページにいちいち値段書いてないだけで大絶賛です。
Deckbuilding 101 - 05/07/2008

You want to build a deck? Yeah? Oh, ok you actually want to win games with it, ok got it. Here is what you do:
You have 4 win conditions in this game: (These only apply to 1v1 games)
1. Take your opponent's avatar down to 0 hit points.
2. Complete 4 quests.
3. Make your opponent run out of cards. This is not a very effective strategy
but I think it can be accomplished.
4. Make your opponent run out of time (timed games only). This is not a very
effective strategy but I think it can be accomplished.
You start with the avatar. Avatars are a very important part of deck building; they are the cornerstone of every deck and they often contribute to the synergy of a deck. The right avatar can really make or break your deck so you want to choose an avatar that fits well with the goal and cards you have for your deck. When you hit that ''create avatar'' button in the deck builder you will find many races to choose from and each race has 3 options for card text to choose from. Some of the options are more generic and useful in any build while some focus on a faction of light or dark. Once you find a text for your avatar that is going to fit well with the deck you have in mind you get to add bonuses to it. As you progress through several options in building your avatar you will find that some text options don't offer as many other bonuses. For instance, the options that result in an 11 hit point or 3 defense or 3 attack avatar don't apply to all text options. Some text options are more powerful so they don't result in as many other bonuses for the avatar. Lower hit-point avatars you have to be very careful with because they die really fast; you might want to include lots of defense or healing in a deck with a low hit-point avatar. The main thing to consider when making an avatar is: How will this avatar compliment my deck and its strategy? It is a really good idea to try your deck builds with different avatar builds to see which one works best with your deck build.
Next are quests. Quests can work for you or against you in many situations so again, pick quests that fit well with your goal. Quest text can also help your opponent so you need to be very careful when choosing quests because of this. Sometimes the benefit of a quest is so important to your build that you ignore the fact that it may also help your opponent. The right quests can make or break your build. If you are building a deck with very few abilities the 5 and 6 token quests don't matter because they will never hit the board. The 2 and 4 token quests are very important to almost every build. Just like with the avatar you may want to try different deck builds with different combinations of quests to find the best combination that helps you accomplish your goal.
The next item on the list is abilities. Abilities are what fuel questing so in any questing build abilities are the most important part of the build. Questing builds need lots of high-token abilities with some lower token ones tossed in. The first quest to complete is 2 tokens so you may not want to include very many abilities that are less than that. There is one item that breaks this guideline, and that item is Journeyman Boots. At 3 power it can be played first turn and 2-token quests can be completed with 1-token abilities. For questing builds there really is one avatar that rises to the top of the list and that is the gnome avatar that allows you to sacrifice an ability to avoid combat with units at the quest you are playing towards. Abilities in general help to enable your avatar to accomplish your goal. They have a wide range of things they can add to your build. A deck can be built without abilities and even win some games but I wouldn't recommend it. The thing to remember with abilities is that they control the questing and to a certain extent the power aspects of the game. If no one completes a quest power stays at 3 and the only way to get more is to play other kinds of cards.
On to tactics we go. Tactics are the surprise factor in the game. Tactics can really take your opponent off-guard. Whenever you make a play in a game a tactic can win the battle for you. Winning battles doesn't always win the war but taking your opponent off-guard might make or break a game. Tactics you have to be really careful with because many of them require certain conditions within the game to be met, such as combat. You cannot use a tactic if combat has not been initiated. Some tactics also require other conditions to be met such as an exerted avatar or unit opponent, so you want to make sure these will work with other cards or strategies in your deck. Limiting the amount of tactics in your deck is a good idea but ignoring them totally is a fatal mistake.
The next item is items. Items are another thing that really enable your avatar to accomplish your deck's goal. One important thing to remember with items is that most of them have a slot, so you need to keep this in mind when adding them to your deck because you cannot have more than one of an item in a slot. When another item gets played into the same slot the item already on the board gets destroyed, the replacement item is played and most importantly you get to draw a card. Items that cost 1 power are generally pretty good for this reason because you get to essentially pay 1 power to cycle through the cards in your deck. Don't go overboard with this, but it doesn't hurt too much to put multiples of the same item that cost 1 power. Conversely you really want to be careful of multiple high cost items as they will wreck your draw and you will have to discard them. If you have ways or strategies that make use of discarding you can use that to your advantage with multiple items for a certain slot, just be careful here. A winning deck can be built with 0 items, but items are so very powerful you don't want to ignore them. A decent deck can also be made that has a majority of items in it but you need to really give a deck like this some thought. There are many ways to destroy items so making a deck that relies on one item can be stopped fairly easily. If you are focusing on items you want to consider cards that will allow you to search your deck for them or recycle them from the discard pile.
The last thing for your deck is units. Units are very important. Sure you can build a deck without them, but the board consists of two fields of play for units so ignoring them puts you in a vulnerable position. Again stick to your goal, pick units that compliment your other cards. The text on units is very helpful; much like avatars, the bonuses on units such as hit points, defense, attack or damage are tied to the text on the unit. Units with very powerful text tend to have lower bonuses in other areas. Units are a key to the synergy of your deck; the combinations that can be achieved when you combine a unit with another unit, tactic, item, ability, or avatar text are really what makes a deck come together and become a machine to be feared. A deck can be built with nothing but units. It's not the greatest build, but not all that bad either. A deck with nothing but units that cost 3 or less power rarely has a bad draw and you will usually always use the power you have.
Ok we have covered the cards, now I want to finish off with some basic recommendations for deck building. Your deck is going to be the most consistent in achieving its goal if you limit the number of cards, and that limit is fifty cards. Keep your deck tight and focused on its goal and don't put cards in there that don't contribute to your goal. An offensive deck is going to be mostly offense but a few defensive cards to balance it out might help. A unit-heavy deck might need a few items or abilities to compliment it. Play test your deck over and over, changing only a few things at a time to properly gauge their effectiveness. A deck that plays well in scenarios or raids doesn't always work well in 1v1 and vice versa. Raid decks can contain more cards. I'd say about 60 is good, you usually have more power to work with and those games are longer. Raid decks can also have a higher amount of high-cost cards because of these reasons.
With a 1v1 deck the cost of cards is very important. Any card that is 3 power or less is usually a decent choice because that is where the game starts. Some games can actually never leave the 3 power threshold so having cheaper cost cards is of utmost importance. The key to card cost is having a good balance between 0, 1, 2 and 3 cost cards with a few higher cost cards tossed in depending on the build. Having too many 2 cost cards leaves you with a draw that may not allow you to use that 3 power you are given to start off with. Having too many high cost cards can really create bad draws. Making a deck with all 1 cost cards means you never have a bad draw and you are always making use of your power, but you will be weaker when your opponent gets their stronger higher cost cards on the board. Also, you draw 2 cards per turn. If you are playing all low-cost cards you will run low on cards in-hand unless you have included ways to draw extra cards. If you put lots of high-cost cards in the deck you will be discarding some of them. It's all about balance folks, if you find your deck isn't flowing well or you cannot play certain cards, rethink your strategy and look for other cards that might fit well. Synergy is the key.

NORRATH!! - 04/15/2008
The Loot Tournament Weekend is set to occur from April 19th – 20th, so get
ready for a two day melee of great game play and exceptional rewards, just for
participating!
SOE intends to continue the tradition of "Loot Tournament Weekend" events where
participating players can receive extraordinary promotional cards and in-game
loot rewards! Each event can start when all slots have been filled in the
tournament. Game play is fun and non-competitive, because everyone who
participates reaps rewards!
For just 10 event passes, each participant will receive three (3) Legends of
Norrath booster packs, a Dagda Icefury, Follower of the Tribunal (3P6 )
promotional card and his or her choice of either an EverQuest® Nimbus of the
Jester (3EQP3) or EverQuest® II Bristelbane's Throwing Stick (3EQIIP3) loot

How long have you played LoN?
I started playing LoN back in October of last year.
Do you play Stargate, Star Chamber or Pirates CSG?
No, I don't.
Do you play any physical TCGs?
Yes I do! I used to play Magic a lot, much less so these days (only the
occasional release event or draft with my buddies). I also play the WoW
TCG.
What got you into gaming and what sort of games do you like the
most?
Oh I've been a gamer for as long as I can remember, I grew up with a Nintendo
Zapper in my hands! But strategy games and RPGs are my favorites.
What type of work do you do?
I'm a student at the
University of Pittsburgh.
What other hobbies or activities do you take part in, other than
LoN?
I like to play racquetball and volleyball.
What is your favorite deck type?
Probably aggro, though
I'll play anything that I think is good in the current environment.
What is your favorite card (playability-wise)?
I really like the fanatic inquisitors, they're so versatile! Damage bonus when
you want it, a protector when you need it, and power generation when you don't
want anything else!
What is your favorite card (art-wise)?
Necklace of Wisdom of course! (I'm not vain... honest :-p)
What type of TCG player are you? For example, are you an Art Lover, a
Competitor, an Innovator?
I'm an Innovator. I'm always trying out wacky decks, most of which never end up
being any good at all. A few of the ideas end up working though, and that just
feels great!
What do you like best about LoN?
You can always find a game, for testing out a new idea for a deck or for
playing around with crazy combos in raids, there are always people ready to go.
Not having to manage the physical cards is really nice too.
Could you describe, in brief, a memorable game you had, or opponent you faced,
and why it stands out in your mind?
It would have to be the finals of the January Champs Qualifier. Firstly because
I never expected to make it to the final round and secondly because of how
close the match was. Every time I attacked and every time my opponent quested
there was a stab of fear that he might kill off two or three of my units, and
heal for that much with the dark elf avatar, putting him out of range. When I
went in for the kill with an Assault, knowing that if he had a Sidestep I would
lose the game, but that if he didn't I would win, and the exhilaration that
came when he passed without playing anything, I'll never forget it.
Do you run or work for an OSG or TCG Fan Site?
Nope!
What is one thing no one would ever suspect about you?
I'm
an enthusiastic, although terrible, photographer.

SOEからのニュースがないので今日もForumネタです。
最近話題になっている（らしい）Lv4クエストのBrawling of the High Seas。
これ自体は、"戦闘勝利時にUnitをReadyにする"効果しかないのですが、
"Exertして任意の味方UnitにVigilanceトークンを置く"Troll plundererと、
"Vigilanceトークンを1つ消費して追加でRaidを行う"Bloodthirsty trollの組み合わせで、
きれいに入る（相手が無抵抗だったり）と延々戦闘が出来る、という凶悪なコンボでした。
※21日のパッチで、
Brawling on the High Seashas had this text added: "You can't begin
another raid at this quest until the end of the turn."
（Brawling on the High
Seasに以下のテキストが追加されました："あなたはターン終了時まで、このクエストにおいて追加のRaidを行うことが出来ない。"）

修正後の話題で、上記コンボではありませんが、High Seasの挙動自体も若干胡散臭いところがあるようです。
AIか、使用したカードか、どっちが悪いのかは分かりませんが･･･

Inquisitorで追加されたLoot Cardの"Token of Loyality"に関しての報告です。
ギルドに納めるSPを"10%"上昇させる指輪、という触れ込みでしたが、
+10%の20%上納だと思って確認した結果、元の10%＋10%の10%（=1%）という計算で、
結局、実際の効果は10%→11%だった、ということです。
11%でも20%でも、特に困るような話でもないのですが、期待してTradeしたらガッカリ、ということの無いように、頭の隅にでも入れておきましょう。

これは･･･どんなUnitでもPow2で持ってこれるということでしょうか。Pow効率はもちろん、Deckからいつでも引いてこれるという意味では、かなりのアドバンテージです。
Unit系Deckの必須Item＆最優先で破壊対象になりそうです。
※08/03/10加筆･･･テキストの誤理解でした。正しくは、「コスト1のUnitをPow1で呼び出せる」効果です。
ただ、少なくともDeckからのUnit展開が速くなるという意味では、使いどころは無くはないです。
A Halfling and a Troll Walk Into a Tavern.... -

The six races originally available for custom avatars increased by two when
theForswornexpansion arrived. Now, withInquisitor, that
number grows by two more. With the arrival of Halfling and Troll avatars, ten
total races -- and thirty different kinds of possible game text -- offer
players more choices than ever before.
You'd probably expect the new Troll options to capture a sense of battle lust
and bloodthirstiness. And for the most part, that's the case. But one
particular Troll avatar plays quite well on either offense or defense:
Thugly
This is an avatar that excels at taking out enemy units. Since you have to deal
1 damage to yourself in the process, this isn't a trick you'll want to use all
the time. Still, plenty of perfect opportunities will present themselves during
a game.
If your deck is all about attacking your opponent with units, you need to "keep
a path clear" to his avatar. Any unit with 3 or more health can put a real kink
in your plans -- theDwarven Sentrybeing a very popular choice. If you
don't have a higher-than-usual damage bonus, theSentrysurvives your
quest phase to block your units throughout your entire turn. Why not take 1
damage to kill theSentryoutright? In return, you'll probably deal more
than 1 damage when you hit your opponent's avatar with your units.
How about those "Reanimation" decks that beat you down with free units
likeLord NagafenandLady Vox? Taking 1 damage to end the
repeated beatings they'll give you can be a bargain. At the least, you'll get a
period to rest and regroup while your opponent waits to draw his
nextReanimate.
As always, you can build an avatar for any archetype, but this example, being a
Priest, can take advantage of certain combos you'll find there. With so much
easy healing available, dealing 1 damage to your avatar is less a cause for
concern -- especially using theNature / Sylvan Touchdeck type. Or
stockHoly Mightin your deck, and you can exert your intended target
before your opponent even gets a chance to use it.
If you're a fan of combos, however, one of the new Halfling avatars should be
right up your alley:
Anduine
There are plenty of ways in which this avatar is immediately, obviously useful.
Used on your own units, it could be a way to keep both quests "blocked" against
attack on your avatar. Used on your opponent's units, it might pave the way for
just that kind of attack. You could shuffle around one of your Reinforce units
(with bonus text triggered by movement) an extra time during your turn. Or you
could group up your opponent's units better for "mass damage" effects like
theElven Wizard,Brutality, and such.
Not as immediately obvious are the ways in which exerting one of your own
abilities can actually workforyou instead of against you. Many players
have asked the question, "Do Ihaveto attempt a quest if I don't want
to?" With this avatar, the answer to that question can be "no." If you aren't
ready to attack the large numbers of units your opponent has waiting at a
quest, you can use this avatar, exert your only ability, and avoid that
problem.
Or you can more fully take advantage of abilities that don't
alwayswantto be applied. Arguably, Mages have the most of those. Do
you love yourAbate Lifestrategy, but find it sometimes hard to keep
"secondary" abilities in play so you're not forced to applyAbate Life?
With this avatar, you can just exertAbate Lifeand not have to worry
about applying it next quest phase. Other good Mage abilities to "keep around"
includeDark Coil,Lifetap, and plenty of new ones you'll find
inInquisitor.
If neither of these avatar texts suit your tastes, then there are, of course,
two others for each race that you'll be able to build
onceInquisitorarrives. Exploring all the many ways they'll work in a
deck, even just with existingOathboundandForsworncards, will
mean plenty of fun for everyone!

Inquisitor Preview: Guilds -

Legends of Norrath™ is getting an upgrade to guild functionality! Even more
guild functions are lined up for future releases, but here are the first batch
of guild improvements that will be making their appearance with the release of
Inquisitor.

This feature will give you the ability to chat with your guildies if they are
in a game, scenario, or any one of the lobbies. One of the most popular
features of Forsworn was the addition of team-based raid play, and we are only
going to be adding more of that type of content in the future. Guild chat makes
it a lot easier to get organized with your friends before going into a
raid.

The ability to create guild officers has been added, as well. Officers will be

Inquisitor Scenarios Preview: Now You Are the
Inquisitor! - 03/03/2008

Your Oathbound hero continues his or her adventures in the world of Norrath
with ten new single-player scenarios inInquisitor. In fact, the actual
name of this set is your new job description.
As you learned from the story of the last set some Oathbound have forsaken
their oaths to the Tribunal and become Forsworn. The Seventh Hammer gives you a
list of four transgressors and instructs you to hunt them down. These Forsworn
must either swear a new oath to The Tribunal or else you must destroy them.
Along the way, you meet up with each of the starter deck Oathbound heroes, and
find out more about them. You'll discover which ones follow the Tribunal's
teachings to the letter and which ones have some doubts.
Your journey takes you to the continent of Kunark, traveling through the seas
of the Timorous Deep. Once on land there, you journey through the Field of
Bone, the Frontier Mountains and the Warsliks Woods. You have your first
encounter with a Chaos Master, the Bard Scout Ariseph.
Moving through your list of Forsworn to convert, you finally reach the City of
Mist and Lork Rak'Ashiir, one of the undead masters of that city. He is guarded
by mysterious constructs, his Black Reavers.

Along with some solid stats and the Sentinel keyword, these machine-like
creations regenerate when killed. Bring aDecoyorStinking
Badgerto get around these roadblocks, because they're just going to keep
coming back over and over again!
In the last battle of theInquisitorcampaign, you find Ariseph, the
Mistress of Verse, for the second time. You were barely able to escape her the
first time, and now is the final reckoning. Her Elven army has been supplanted
by Wood Elf Balladeers.

These Elven units have a little song magic going for themselves. They'll
entrance one of your units each time they attack, making them very effective in
terms of getting rid of your unit army. These tough units that begin in play,
combined with the power of the songs in Ariseph's arsenal, make the last
scenario a tough one for you to complete.
As in previous sets, when you defeat each of these new scenarios with a
different archetype on any of the three difficulty settings you'll earn a
reward card. Additionally, conquer all 10 scenarios with all four archetypes on
the same difficulty setting and you'll receive a special reward card!

Celebrate the release of Inquisitor with release weekend sealed deck
tournaments, scheduled to start March 7-9, 2008. Each player that enters an
Inquisitor release weekend sealed deck tournament will receive one (1) random
Inquisitor starter deck and three (3) Inquisitor booster packs to build their
tournament deck. In addition, an exclusive promotional card, Burynai Rockshaper

Inquisitor Raid Preview: Blood of Di'Zok -

Players have been hungry for new raid content, andInquisitordelivers
with this new Chardok four-man raid! This time, you're journeying to the
continent of Kunark, looking for the forest called the Burning Woods. There,
you'll find the ancient military fortress known as Chardok. It's the ancestral
home of the Di'zok family, royal members of the Sarnak race. Along with the
debut of Sarnak units inInquisitor, this raid lets you meet the ruling
family on their own turf.
Serve the Sarnak
Along with some Iksar followers, Chokidai animal pets and Sebilite guards, this
castle is full of Sarnak, as you would expect. That means this ability provides
a huge boost to most of the units in the Chardok raid deck. Players will be
able to bring other Sarnak units to this raid, but Serve the Sarnak only works
for the units belonging to the raid boss... the loyal servants!
In the Chardok raid, there's a progression of avatars, just like in the
Trakanon raid. First, you'll meet the Bridge Keeper, and you'll have to quest
to defeat him. Then it's time to start working your way up the royalty
chain.
Your party will next encounter Prince Selrach and his army of units, followed
by Queen Velazul and her powerful magics. If you can get through the Locked
Door and avoid the Pit Trap, it's time for the final act.
Overking's Chamber
To defeat Overking Bathezid, you'll need to engage him mano-a-mano. As
important as your armies of units are to getting through the rest of the
castle, they'll be worthless against the Overking himself.
If the Overking's Chamber is in play by the time you encounter the Di'zok
ruler, you can transform one of your remaining units into an opportunity for
attack each turn. Will your guild be the first to slay the Overking?

上の2枚のクエストを見ると、やはり火力と守りがどちらも必要なシチュエーションは多々ありそうです。

Inquisitor Preview: New Classes - By Chuck "Shocho" Kallenbach Game Designer,

Each of the four archetypes in Legends of Norrath encompass several different
classes from EverQuest and EverQuest II. So far, the Fighter archetype has
featured cards for Shadowknights, Paladins, Warriors, Guardians, and
Berserkers.
With the advent of Inquisitor, we're shifting the focus to Monks and Bruisers.
In game terms, this means we're getting away from helping or healing your units
and piling on the defense. Now, it's time for your Fighter deck to go on the
offensive.
Battle
Lust
A focus on avatar combat certainly includes some cool tactics, so this ability
helps you by readying your avatar each time you play one. This creates some
combos with cards like Wind Walk. Now you can take that damage penalty and
ready your avatar to add his damage bonus. Battle Lust has great attributes as
well, with a defense of 4 and 3 levels.
You'll find lots of cards adding to the attack and damage of your avatar. To
provide some Monk-like flavor, we're including a two-handed bo staff that
disarms and a secondary fist weapon. We tried some game mechanics that required
your avatar to fight 'unarmed' without weapons or with only certain tagged
items, but testing showed that was too restrictive.
After all, you're not just a Monk or Bruiser, you're an Oathbound hero! The
powers granted to you by The Tribunal mean that you can mix and match armor and
weapons just like healing spells and lifetaps.
One of the reasons we saved some classes for this long was to get a 'critical
mass' of cards available to play them correctly. That's why you haven't seen
any Scout cards for Bards, Dirges, and Troubadours... until now.
Dissension
The first thing to notice about this new Scout ability is that it has the trait
of 'Song.' Like other labels such as 'Archery' or 'Stealth,' this creates a
group of cards to be searched for or otherwise modified.
In the case of Song cards, most of them are abilities that have levels and
defense like usual, but they also have an effect that triggers when the Scout
avatar is exerted. You can mix and match these effects to have some real fun in
building your deck.
Our preview card here, Dissension, illustrates the concept that a song is
'heard by everybody.' The item destruction on this card is not tied to a
combatant. Songs allow Scouts to affect things out of combat the way that
Priests and Mages (who are naturally 'spell casters') can do sometimes.
You'll also find a Lute item that you can use to begin combat against your
opponent when you play a Song. We decided that your Oathbound Scout hero can
have up to three Songs in effect at once, because you're a legend of
Norrath!
Mages will find new pet units and a strong group of Light cards to help
reinforce the Enchanter and Illusionist kinds of decks. Priests are getting
some new Nature cards and many Shadow cards like the new Heresy card that's
already been previewed.

Just like in the first two Legends of Norrath sets, you'll find lots of
different unit cards in Inquisitor. We've focused on four races that you'll
find featured on a half dozen cards, two Light and two Shadow. Also as before,
you'll find one of these four races in each of the four starter decks.
You've seen High Elves (that's Light Elf unit cards) and Iksar (who are Shadow
units) before, and the new set provides even more of those. Of course, they
have their own themes and mechanics to tie them together in interesting ways.
But this article will focus on the two newer races in the set.
First, we have the lovable Halflings, who are short of stature and fond of
song, food and mischief. Along with a barmaid, a sheriff and a deputy, you'll
find this lovable guy. He's got a sermon to deliver, and it might just have a
lasting effect on you.
Halfling Preacher
Faction has been a keystone of Legends of Norrath since its original release,
and until now, there have been only a couple of ways to use it. You can stock
your deck with cards that get 'bonus' text when your avatar becomes Light or
Shadow. Or, you can include both Light and Shadow cards in your deck, assuming
that you'll never get 10 faction either way. A few cards even prefer that you
live in that 'neutral zone' since they provide drawbacks for gaining Light or
Shadow.
One thing that has almost never happened in the game before is for you to be
able to mess around with your opponent's faction. If your opponent is racing to
10 Shadow, trying to turn on that bonus text, the Halfling Preacher will slow
that down, maybe even buying you a turn before the Big Switch is thrown.
The nastiest result is when you catch a neutral player too close to one side or
the other, and he pegs the meter when he still has cards of the wrong faction
in his deck!
The Good Reverend can also put you on the fast track toward your own Light
faction, by simply attempting his quest to boost your own faction. He's just
preaching, he doesn't care who listens! (Gee, do you think there'll be another
unit like this that boosts Shadow faction? Yeah, I think so too.)
The other race we'll talk about today is Troll. Squarely on the Shadow side of
the faction line, they enjoy fighting and eating. Hey, they have that in common
with Halflings, how about that? We have burly and bloodthirsty trolls, and also
plunderers and slayers. Today's Troll preview illlustrates their naturally
surly nature.
Troll
Invader
Yes, that's right, the Troll Invader is the Poster Boy for 'Does Not Play Well
With Others.' Obviously, he's cool in the early game when a single unit at a
quest can make a big difference. However, unlike the Orcish Swordmaster, the
Invader's bonus is renewable just by moving away other friendly units from his
quest. Or put him in a deck with Goblins, so that when they all explode he'll
be left alone to do his invading.
You'll find other surprises in the unit category in Inquisitor. Isn't it true
that Mage was the only archetype with its own units? Not any more. Only two
units could get a unit card from your deck... until now. There are wild animals
with 'territorial' game texts that attack questers. You can get our famous
starter deck heroes as playable units, along with a few more Oathbound
characters on unit cards for the first time.

With the release of Inquisitor just around the corner, players will soon have
the opportunity to snatch some Inquisitor gameplay with the Iksar Abductor
(included free with the purchase of any combination of three (3) Oathbound or
Forsworn Booster Packs). This powerful new unit features a brand-new keyword
addition to Legends of Norrath – Vigilant. You'll find this keyword on some of
the new Iksar and Troll units in Inquisitor. Each time your opponent attempts a
quest where you have a Vigilant unit, that unit gets a token placed on it.

Inquisitor Preview: Keywords -

In addition to many other exciting new gameplay features in Inquisitor, two
keywords make their debut in this set. Keyworded actions come in many shapes
and sizes. Some are usable only on one or two types of cards, and others fit on
just about any type. Sometimes the design team takes a look at an old card and
decides that its game text has enough utility to receive the keyword
treatment.
Restoration 'R' Us
The Oathbound Priest card Restoration lets you ready a unit when you play that
ability. We've decided that would be a cool bonus for lots of kinds of cards,
so you'll find the new keywordRestoreon many cards in the new set.
Since you can't click the keywork in this image for more info like you can in
the game, I'll provide the text for Restore. When you play this card, you may
ready a unit. Of course, that includes units belonging to your teammates, so
Restore becomes a helpful strategy in any team game or raid.
Resonant
Sonata
While most of the cards that have the Restore keyword play during your main
phase (such as abilities, items, and units), those tricky Scouts have Restore
on a tactic. That's the way that Scouts like to do their business, during
combat.
This card has a Troubadour-inspired effect, as you can tell from the picture of
Ariseph enchanting her Elven buddies with a song. She seems like a sweet girl,
but wait until you meet her in the scenarios... she's not called a Chaos Master
for nothing!
The sonata you're resonating will put an opposing combatant to 'sleep' by
exerting it. No other requirement other than for you to be attacking, and you
love to do that, don't you Scout player? Let's call this putting you ahead in
the Ready Race... this tactic exerts one of the Bad Guys and readies one of the
Good Guys at the same time!
Eternal Vigilance Is the
Price
Even if your opponent isn't questing for the win, she's probably having to
quest from time to time as the natural result of playing abilities. That's why
you need some units with the Vigilant keyword. The game text for that is When
an opponent attempts this unit's quest, put a vigilance token on this unit.
Iksar
Brigand
What do you do with these vigilance tokens? That's a complicated question to
answer, because every single unit that has Vigilant provides its own special
way to use its tokens. The design team likes this kind of flexibility. We call
it 'adding design space.' There's an often-used analogy about finding a new
vein of ore in a mine, but I won't go into that here.
Our buddy the Iksar Brigand operates in a pretty straightforward manner. I hear
that dealing damage during combat is a Good Thing(TM). He's cheap enough that
you can drop him at a quest early in the game and get a token or two, and then
you're ready for business. Payback is... well, it's problematic for the
paybackee.
You'll find over a dozen cards with the Vigilant keyword in Inquisitor. Mixing
and matching their triggers and effects is lots of fun. There are even units
that mess around with vigilance tokens who don't have the keyword
themselves!

Once again, the design and development teams are very excited to be able to
show you what we've been working on. It's time to start talking about some of
the features of the secondLegends of Norrathexpansion
set,Inquisitor.
Facts and Figures
It's the same size asForsworn, and that means 210 common, uncommon,
and rare cards to be found in boosters (along with some terrific new Loot
cards) and four fixed starter decks that have 4 new quests and 3 random Rares
each. You'll find some Promo cards sneaking out every once in a while, because
we have an ambitious plan for those as well.

Of course, there are 10 more single-player scenarios that continue to tell the
story of your Oathbound hero. For this campaign, you're given a new job

Halflings and Trolls and Keywords
Inquisitoris packed with more exciting features, including new keywords,

more Iksar and High Elves. You'll find Legend units such as Al'Kabor, Master
Wu, and many more. The new player-created avatar races are Halfling and Troll,

the Brood of Di'zok in the biggest test of your party's cooperation yet

Restore: Playing a card with this ability will ready a unit on

この能力(=意訳すればKeywordのことだと思われます。)を持つカードをPlayすることで、テーブル上のUnitをReadyに出来ます。（Also has
secondary function…→だからもう一度行動できます、ということでしょうか）
Vigilant: The cards with this keyword gathers power every time
your opponent attempts a quest. You can then use that power to trigger
different abilities.このキーワードを持つカードはあなたの対戦相手がクエストにアビリティを捧げたときにPowerを得ます。
→上記のPowerは、AvatarのPowerではありませんでした。
正しくは、「このキーワードを持つカード(Unit)は、あなたの対戦相手が（このUnitが設置された）クエストにアビリティを捧げたとき、Vigilanceトークンを得る。このトークンを、さまざまなアビリティのトリガーとして使用できる。」ということで、power=設置されるトークンのことを指すようです。
Faction: Prevent other players from gaining faction.

More raids are introduced in Inquisitor, this time using the Royal Family of
Sarnaks from Kunark as the loot pinatas. This is another element of the set
that will be free to all registered players.

SOE will be hosting a weekend of major tournament events where players can
receive extraordinary promotional cards and in-game loot rewards! New "Loot
Tournament Weekend" tournament queues, where players can receive new
promotional and loot cards will be running all weekend long. Each event will
start when all slots have filled in the tournament.
Each player who participates in one of these tournaments will receive

either anEverQuest® Nimbus of the LoverorEverQuest® II Poisoned
